Rapid supply in the event of a crisis.
The Unimog from Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, in combination with the water purification unit from Kärcher Futuretech, is an ideal solution for producing and distributing vital drinking water.
Unimog ensures safe transportation.
Strong together: Unimog and Kärcher Futuretech.
Water is one of the most valuable resources. Especially in crisis regions and crisis situations, it is important to ensure a permanent supply of clean drinking water. The unit created in cooperation between Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks and Kärcher Futuretech enables clean water to be produced and distributed quickly and easily.
With the highly off-road-capable "drinking water Unimog", up to three autonomous drinking water supply systems can be transported to different locations in difficult-to-access terrain.
WTC 5000 UF produces 360,000 liters of drinking water per day.
The core component of the systems transported on the "drinking-water Unimog" is the WTC 5000 UF water treatment unit from Kärcher Futuretech. Powered by its supplied generator, it can produce up to 5,000 liters of drinking water per hour. Using ultrafiltration, it produces particle-free drinking water from almost any natural raw water source, which is classified as both microbiologically and virologically safe and approved according to international standards (FDA, DVGW W 270). The daily output of the three WTC 5000 UF units is 360,000 liters, which corresponds, according to the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO), to the supply of up to 50,000 people in need.
