Off-road trips

Stronger than ever.

A six-cylinder engine and 220 kW (299 hp) give the Unimog U 5030 impressive power. The Mercedes-Benz off-roader was developed in cooperation with Hellgeth Engineering Special Vehicle Construction. With even more power — for everyone who refuses to be held back by anything.

Special model with added performance.

The secret is under the hood: the OM 936 LA engine. Instead of four cylinders, the Unimog is powered by six cylinders with a capacity of 7.7 l. It delivers an output of 220 kW (299 hp) and a strong maximum torque of 1,200 Nm. The common-rail engine belongs to the new generation of state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz engines that comply with the Euro VI emissions standard.

The Unimog U 5030 is robust and off-road capable. To increase traction, it also features a permanent all-wheel drive. The modified drivetrain provides even more dynamism off-road and a confident driving behaviour on journeys.
