Discover something special
Exclusive comfort combined with supreme off-road capability – the Unimog U 5023 with a body from Bliss Mobil fully impressed in the journalists' test. The Unimog with the Bliss Mobil body masters almost any challenge while also carrying a small luxury apartment on its back.
Off-road expedition vehicle from Bliss Mobil
A travel-ready Unimog for tours, expeditions and rallies.
From the outside: as simple as a freight container. From the inside: a true revelation. Whoever steps into the Bliss Mobil body for the highly off-road-capable Unimog U 5023 finds themselves seamlessly in a luxury apartment. The front panels are made of bamboo, the surfaces of Corian, and the lounge furniture is upholstered in high-quality textiles. Two roof hatches and five windows provide plenty of light, while the powerful climate control system and underfloor heating ensure comfortable room temperatures in both the hottest and coldest parts of the world. Because the cabin air is kept at slight overpressure, pesky insects are kept at bay.
Comfortable off-road.
It goes without saying that the motorhome body from the Dutch manufacturer reaches its destinations as safely as it does comfortably with this transport vehicle: the highly off-road-capable Unimog U 5023 masters even the toughest terrain thanks to its 170 kW common-rail diesel engine, torsionally flexible frame, portal axles, three differential locks, TireControl plus tyre pressure control system and all-wheel drive. Even water can't hold it back: the Unimog U 5023 can ford water up to 1.20 m deep.

Comfort for day and night.
In the kitchen area, an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer make culinary delights possible that globetrotters of earlier times could never have dreamed of. Meals are eaten on a comfortable couch. A 16‑litre boiler supplies hot water for washing up and the spacious shower cabin. Restful sleep is promised by the 140‑centimetre‑wide and 200‑centimetre‑long double bed, which is mounted space‑savingly beneath the two‑metre‑high ceiling. The trick: thanks to its electronically controlled mounting, the bed remains level even when the Unimog with Bliss Mobil body is parked in rough terrain. All electronic systems of the Bliss Mobil body can also be controlled via an iPad or iMac.
“I'm delighted by the Bliss Mobil. First, because I appreciate good cuisine when traveling. Second, because I use a Unimog myself in our vineyard: a U 403 from 1971 that still does its job perfectly.”
Solar modules generate energy.
But where does the electricity in the wilderness come from? From eight lithium-ion batteries that are charged on the move by the carrier vehicle's engine. In addition, four monocrystalline solar panels on the roof collect solar energy. Water in the desert is also no problem: the tank compartments hold 480 liters of fresh water and 170 liters of rainwater. Bliss Mobil even offers an optional water purification system. Anyone who wants can rent this exclusive complete package of the Bliss Mobil body and Unimog U 5023: Bliss Mobil is in the process of parking a small fleet of travel-ready Unimog worldwide to offer for guided tours, events or solo travel.
