From classics to the eActros 600: RoadStars have the ultimate Mercedes-Benz Trucks experience
On 11 and 12 October 2024, randomly selected members of the RoadStars community took part in the final RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE of the year. Find out here what they think about the new eActros 600 and what else they have experienced.
At the third RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE, selected members of our RoadStars community were given an exclusive insight into the exciting world of Mercedes‑Benz Trucks. The participants came from Greece, Belgium, France, Romania, the Czech Republic and Germany. In addition to the unique opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, an action-packed agenda awaited our RoadStars – including a test drive in the brand-new eActros 600!
In the largest Mercedes‑Benz truck assembly plant
It all started with a guided tour of the Mercedes‑Benz plant in Wörth, where the participants were able to follow the unique truck production processes live and were given an interesting insight into the production processes. This was particularly fascinating, as every vehicle is manufactured to customer specifications and is therefore unique.

RoadStars become real e-professionals
Afterwards, our RoadStars were given a detailed insight into the future of charging at the Truck Charging Park. The tour continued with a visit to the new eActros 600 Experience World, where participants marvelled at the eActros 300 semitrailer tractor and the eActros 600 up close. Here, they also received special insights into the future of truck driving from market researchers and developers at Mercedes-Benz Trucks, and were able to actively contribute suggestions for improvement and requests – because who knows more about everyday trucking than our RoadStars?

Classics vs. eActros 600: the ultimate test
In legendary classics from Mercedes-Benz Trucks, the RoadStars were able to experience for themselves how much driving has changed. For influencer Frederik Munz, it was a real eye-opener because: “the ride comfort in such a new truck is a completely different world”. This was followed by the ultimate test drive for the RoadStars. Accompanied by driving instructors, the participants were able to experience the smooth driving experience of the eActros 600 for themselves. RoadStar Domien Stubbe from Belgium was surprised at how quietly, yet powerfully the eActros drives. Uwe Löffler summed it up: “it was not simply better, it was unsurpassed”. An eco training session rounded off the programme perfectly. Here, participants learned how to reduce their fuel consumption in the long term when driving diesel trucks.

eActros EXPERIENCE 2024: RoadStars at the wheel of the eActros 600.
On 2 and 3 August 2024, randomly selected members of the RoadStars community took part in the second RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE this year. Find out what they experienced here.
At the second RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE, lucky winners from our RoadStars community were given an exclusive insight into the exciting world of Mercedes-Benz Trucks. In addition to the unique opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, an action-packed agenda awaited our RoadStars – including a test drive in the brand-new eActros 600!
Exclusive insight into production
It all started with a guided tour of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth, where participants were able to take a good look at the production of the Actros, Arocs and Atego model series first-hand, offering a thought-provoking insight into the production processes. This was particularly exciting, as every vehicle is manufactured to customer specifications and is therefore unique. Creator André Geipel was enthusiastic, after all, “you can really see that the people working on the vehicles are putting their heart and soul into the assembly”.

A glimpse into the future of mobility

The ultimate test: RoadStars at the wheel of the eActros 600
As a perfect complement to all these new impressions, RoadStars were then given the opportunity to go on the ultimate test drive, because in addition to EcoDriving with the Actros L and the eActros 300, they also go the chance to take a seat behind the wheel of the eActros 600 for the first time. Accompanied by driver trainers, they were able to experience the unique driving experience of the eActros 600 for themselves. The conclusion? RoadStars were so impressed that they did not want to give the truck back. It wasn't just the smooth and quiet driving feel that left a lasting impression, but also the powerful acceleration. Or, as participant Christoph Lacher perfectly summed it up: “a smooth driving feel, yet there's still power available, even at 40 tonnes. Spot on"! A ride in some Mercedes-Benz Trucks classics was the ideal way to round off the agenda.

Thanks to the best community
After an unforgettable time, packed with action and new impressions, the day ended perfectly with a guided brewery tour and a delicious dinner at Höpfner Burghof. In the end, all that is left for us to do is say thank you. The second eActros EXPERIENCE 2024 was a complete success and we are delighted to have shared all those experiences with you. We can hardly wait for the next RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE in October!

RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE: An action-packed weekend.
On 14 and 15 June 2024, 48 members of our community took part in this year's first RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE. Find out what they experienced here.
Back at last: at the first RoadStars eActros Experience, 48 RoadStars from our community met to experience the exciting world of Mercedes-Benz Trucks up close. Participants came from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany. In addition to the unique opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, an action-packed agenda awaited our RoadStars.
A glimpse into the future of mobility
To kick off, our expert Hans-Jürgen took the RoadStars for a tour of the Truck Charging Park, giving them a deep insight into the future of charging and explaining the technical details of an eActros 400 drive, including the eAxle. The tour continued with a visit to the brand new eActros 600 Experience World, where participants were able to experience the eActros 600 semitrailer tractor up close for the first time.

The ultimate test: RoadStars at the wheel of the eActros
As a perfect complement to all these new impressions, RoadStars completed the ultimate practical test; a test drive of the eActros 300. Accompanied by driver trainers, participants were able to experience the unique driving experience of the eActros 300 for themselves. For many, this was their first time, but Téo Calvet, truck racer and Brand Ambassador for Mercedes-Benz Trucks in France, summed it up: “You can't judge until you've tried it”.
The conclusion? RoadStars were extremely positively surprised: not only by the smooth and quiet driving feel of the eActros, but also its powerful acceleration. Or as Anke Günther succinctly put it: “Once you press the accelerator, it’s off!”

Action at the Ötigheim gravel pit.
The action continued as part of the visit to the Mercedes-Benz Trucks gravel pit in Ötigheim. All the participating RoadStars were first treated to an impressive, wet and, above all, muddy presentation of the Unimog and the Zetros. “Pure power”, according to RoadStar Tim Bogaerts. Afterwards, participants were given the chance to climb into both the Unimog and the Zetros as co-drivers and even drive the Actros tipper vehicles across uneven terrain themselves. A ride in some Mercedes-Benz Trucks classics was also on the agenda. An unforgettable day, packed with action and new impressions!

In the end, all that is left for us to do is say thank you. The first RoadStars eActros EXPERIENCE 2024 was a complete success and we are delighted that you spent the exciting hours together with us.
