The Actros L ProCabin Misano Special Edition

To celebrate the Misano Grand Prix Truck 2025 on 17 and 18 May, Daimler Truck Italia presented the special edition of the Actros L ProCabin 1863 LS from Mercedes-Benz Trucks for the first time in Italy as a tribute to the Misano Marco Simoncelli racetrack. This special version was developed in collaboration with RinoCustom. The futuristic design underlines the truck’s efficiency and avant-garde style, which is particularly emphasised by the vehicle’s aerodynamics. ProCabin features a front end that has been extended by 80 mm longer, thus improving aerodynamics and, at the same time, reducing fuel consumption by up to 3% compared to predecessor models. RinoCustom’s work is characterised by bold colours and exclusive finishes created with high-quality foils from CAST SKINTAC by Hexis. They are tailored to the style of Mercedes-Benz and underline its elegance and sportiness.

“Every element has been designed in such a way that aesthetics and functionality harmonise perfectly and the Actros L ProCabin achieves a completely new level of individualisation. With a tailor-made approach, we have reinterpreted the exterior to further emphasise the character of the vehicle. ‘Special Edition’ perfectly expresses the essence of RinoCustom’s design.  “We developed this concept together with RinoCustom to create a unique product that highlights the avant-garde design and aerodynamics of the ProCabin cab. In addition, I deliberately called this special edition of the new Actros L the ‘Misano Special Edition’ – as our tribute and link to the race track that embodies values such as efficiency, a sporty character and passion. For this reason, we have depicted a stylised silhouette of the race track on the side of the truck. RinoCustom managed to implement the concepts we wanted to convey in a unique way. The lines of the vehicle decals are inspired by the vehicle’s dynamics, while the vibrant colours have been specifically selected to highlight the aerodynamic side skirts and give the truck an even more distinctive appearance.
