This year marked the 37th occasion the event was held, and it once again far exceeded the expectations of the 25,000 spectators in Jarama. An outstanding team of more than 500 professionals, including technical and sporting officials, medical staff as well as production and maintenance staff ensured that the Spanish Grand Prix could once again make its claim as one of the outstanding events in the international motorsport calendar.
