Jona – driving instructor with passion!
Big vehicles, a lot of responsibility and new people every day: as a driving instructor, Jona teaches others how to drive trucks. In our video series "Real Women. Real Stories." she talks about what excites her about her job and what matters when learner drivers become real truckers.
Anyone who wants to drive a truck first needs to learn how to handle size, weight and technology with confidence. This is exactly where Jona comes in. At Fahrschule Schuster she trains learner drivers for cars, trucks and buses — and accompanies them on their way to their driver’s licence.
It's about much more than rules, technology and the right preparation for the exam. Everyone learns differently. That's why, for Jona, patience, trust and a good sense for the person she's working with are just as much part of the job as plenty of experience on the road.
What does Jona particularly like about her job? Accompanying people on their journey and seeing how they become more confident with every driving lesson.
