Series: 4-Xtremes – The World Tour
An adventurous year comes to an end.
Twelve months, several countries and a huge milestone: Mike and Andrea have been on the road all year in South America with their Axor. Time for a recap!
Hey RoadStars, 2025 has changed a lot for us: With the birth of our daughter Zoe, we embarked on a completely new adventure. Now the three of us are on the road and are continuing our journey through South America.
New life for three
Zoe was born in Argentina and just one month after her birth we moved back into our home on wheels. With a few small modifications and a lot of care we slowly began our new life as a family of three and learned to reshape everyday life on the road. For the first few months we took things easy: we spent time with friends near Buenos Aires and then drove leisurely through Uruguay.
Because we already knew several places there, the travel routine was uncomplicated – and we could fully concentrate on the beautiful nature and the sights, without having to plan as elaborately as usual.

Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay
From Uruguay we continued through southern Brazil. There we experienced wild mountain landscapes, remote beaches, small fishing villages and vibrant cities. A particular highlight was the visit to the Mercedes-Benz plant in São Bernardo do Campo, where trucks and engines are manufactured. In Paraguay we camped by rivers, visited centuries-old ruins and walked along lagoons with caimans.
Back in Argentina
Finally we returned to Argentina – to a region we had not visited before. In the province of Corrientes, we were impressed by Iberá National Park, which protects a vast wetland and where we encountered a fascinating array of wildlife. One big highlight is still on our list before we wrap up Argentina – but more on that later.
