Terms and conditions of participation.
Daimler Truck AG is holding an exclusive RoadStars competition under the following terms and conditions of participation. By participating, you accept the following terms and conditions of participation.
1. Organiser.
Daimler Truck AG, Fasanenweg 10, 70771 Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany
2. Final entry date.
The promotion starts on 28/02/2025 and ends at midnight on 30/03/2025.
3. Participants.
Participation is exclusively possible using the https://roadstars.mercedes-benz-trucks.com website. Each participant may only register once for the competition.
Participants must be over 18 years of age and must be registered as a truck driver (blue steering wheel) on the aforementioned website and hold a valid category C driving licence.
When registering, it is vital that all personal details provided are correct. Failure to comply may lead to exclusion in accordance with Section 4.
4. Exclusion from participation.
Employees of Daimler Truck AG and its affiliated companies, contractual partners, dealership employees and their respective family members are excluded from participation.
Also excluded from participation are juridical persons as well as employees of non-independent companies representing competition in the truck business for Daimler Truck AG.
In case of failure to comply with these terms and conditions of participation Daimler Truck AG reserves the right to exclude persons from participation.
Multiple registrations for participation are not possible. Daimler Truck AG reserves the right to exclude participants if it identifies them as having submitted multiple participation registrations.
Persons who submit incorrect personal details will also be excluded from participation.
5. Prizes.
40 winners will be drawn from all participating users.
The prize includes participation in the RoadStars eActros Experience in April 2025.
There are no cash alternatives to the prizes.
The prize is not transferable to third parties.
6. Data protection.
6.1 Purposes of data processing
The personal data that you have provided to us will only be used for the purposes of managing this competition. The data will be used to identify the winner and to notify the same as well as for utilisation within the framework of the rights granted by participants in Section 7 of the Terms and Conditions of Participation.
6.2 Legal basis
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

6.5 Data categories
We process the following categories of personal data: Name, address, house number, town/city, postal code, country.
6.6 Deletion
All collected personal data will be deleted by 01/06/2025. The above-mentioned does not apply to use of the rights granted by participants in accordance with Section 7 of the Terms and Conditions of Participation.
6.7 Disclosure to third parties
Your data will not be passed on to third-parties except Germany-based service providers (contract processor) supporting the implementation of the competition.
6.8 Rights of data subjects
You have the following rights in conjunction with the processing of your personal data:
In accordance with Art.15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about the data stored by us.
In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected.
In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR you have the right to have your data deleted if there is no legal basis for further storage.
In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to demand restriction of the processing of your data. This means that your data will continue to be stored, however it may only be processed under restricted conditions (e.g. with your consent or for the assertion of legal claims).
In accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to data portability with regard to all data that you have provided to us. This means that we provide you with this data in a structured, common and machine-readable format.
6.9 Rights of complaint to the supervisory authority
You have the right to call upon the above-mentioned, named data protection officer or a data supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of personal data pertaining to you infringes the General Data Protection Regulation.
7. Image rights.
Participants grant Daimler Truck AG a free-of-charge, simple, spatially-unlimited and time-unlimited right, also transferable to third parties, to archive, edit, reproduce, distribute, exhibit and publicly display photos and film recordings for documentational and commercial purposes. The above-stated exploitation rights apply irrespective of the transmission, reproduction or presentation channels; in particular, they include the right to exploit the content on the Internet.
8. Termination of the competition ahead of schedule.
Daimler Truck AG reserves the right to abort the competition or terminate it at any time without prior notice and without giving reason. Daimler Truck AG shall avail itself of this opportunity in particular in those cases in which for technical reasons (for example viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons, the proper implementation of the competition cannot be guaranteed. Insofar as such termination is caused by the conduct of a participant, Daimler Truck AG may demand that this person provide compensation for the damage incurred.
9. Liability.
Daimler Truck AG is only liable for damage caused by Daimler Truck AG or one of its agents as a result of wilful intent or gross negligence or as a result of a breach of contractual obligations. This does not apply to damage in the case of violation of life, body and/or health.
The preceding restriction of liability applies in particular to damage caused by errors, delays or disruptions in data transmission, by malfunctions of equipment or services, by inaccurate content, by the loss or deletion of data, by viruses.
10. Miscellaneous.
All decisions are final.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Should any provision of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the legal validity of the other provisions.
The European Commission provides an online dispute settlement (OS) platform that consumers can use to resolve a dispute arising from online contracts with a company established in the EU out of court. This is available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Please note that in accordance with Section 36 Consumer Dispute Settlement Act (VSBG): the organiser shall not participate in any dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board as per the German Consumer Dispute Settlement Act (VSBG) and is not obligated to do so.
