Terms and conditions of participation.
Daimler Truck AG is organising an exclusive RoadStars campaign under the following terms and conditions of participation. By participating, you accept the following terms and conditions of participation.
1. Organiser.
Daimler Truck AG, Fasanenweg 10, 70771 Leinfelden-Echterdingen
2. Deadline for participation.
The promotion starts on 28/04/2025 and ends at midnight on 25/05/2025.
3. Participants.
Participation is only possible via the website http://roadstars.mercedes-benz-trucks.com. Each participant may only participate once in the promotion.
All persons over the age of 18 who are registered as truck drivers (blue steering wheel) on the above-mentioned website and hold a valid class C driving licence may take part.
When registering, it is essential that all personal details are true. Otherwise, an exclusion in accordance with Section 4 may apply.
4. Exclusion from participation.
Employees of Daimler Truck AG, its subsidiaries, contractual partners and employees of branches, together with their relatives, are excluded from participation.
Legal entities and employees of non-independent companies that are competitors of Daimler Truck AG in the truck sector are also excluded from participation.
Daimler Truck AG reserves the right to exclude persons from participation in the event of a violation of these terms and conditions of participation.
Multiple entries are not possible. Daimler Truck AG reserves the right to exclude participants who have been identified as taking part more than once.
Anyone who provides false personal data is also excluded.
5. Prizes.
40 winners will be drawn from all participating users.
The prize includes participation in the RoadStars eActros Experience in Wörth on 27th and 28th June 2025.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
The transfer of a prize to a third party is excluded.
6. Data protection.
6.1 Purposes of data processing
The personal data you provide to us will only be processed for the purpose of carrying out this promotion. The data will be used to determine and notify the winners of the promotion as well as for usage within the scope of the rights granted by the participants in accordance with Section 7 of the terms and conditions of participation.
6.2 Legal basis
This data is processed on the basis of Article 6, para. 1(b) GDPR.

6.5 Data categories
We process the following categories of personal data: Name, address, house number, city, postcode, country.
6.6 Deletion
All personal data collected will be deleted on 01/06/2025. The foregoing does not apply to uses within the scope of the rights granted by the participants in accordance with Section 7 of the terms and conditions of participation.
6.7 Disclosure to third parties
Your data will not be disclosed to third parties, with the exception of service providers (“processors”) based in Germany who provide support for the implementation of this promotion.
6.8 Rights of data subjects
You have the following rights in connection with the processing of your personal data:
Pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about the data stored by us.
Pursuant to Article 16 GDPR, you have the right to have incorrect data rectified.
Pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to have your data erased, unless there is a legal basis for further storage.
Pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your data. This means that your data will still be stored, but may only be processed subject to limited conditions (e.g. with your consent or for the assertion of legal claims).
Pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to data portability with regard to all data that you have provided to us. This means that we shall provide you with this data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
6.9 Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
You have the option of contacting the above-mentioned data protection officer or a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the General Data Protection Regulation.
7. Image rights.
The participant grants Daimler Truck AG a free, simple, spatially and temporally unlimited right, which is transferable to third parties, to archive, edit, reproduce, distribute, exhibit and publicly reproduce photographs and film recordings for documentation and commercial purposes. The above-mentioned usage rights are granted irrespective of the transfer and reproduction channels; they include in particular the right to usage on the Internet.
8. Early termination of the promotion.
Daimler Truck AG reserves the right to cancel or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons. Daimler Truck AG shall use this option in particular if, for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, tampering or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons, proper implementation of the promotion cannot be guaranteed. Where such termination is caused by the conduct of a participant, Daimler Truck AG may demand compensation from this person for the damage incurred.
9. Liability.
Daimler Truck AG shall only be liable for damage caused by Daimler Truck AG or one of its vicarious agents intentionally or as a result of gross negligence or by the breach of essential contractual obligations. This does not apply to damage resulting from injury to life, limb and/or health.
The above-mentioned limitation of liability applies in particular to damage caused by errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, in the event of malfunctions of the technical systems and the service, due to incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, and viruses.
10. Other.
The Organiser’s decision is final.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform that consumers can use for the out-of-court resolution of a dispute arising from online contracts with an EU-based company. These can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Notice in accordance with Section 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG): The Organiser will not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG) and is also not obliged to do so.
