    Zetros

    Accept no limits

The Zetros is a truck like no other. You can do particularly tough jobs with this off-road truck. The bonnet has been designed from the outset for extreme conditions in your operations. Its sturdy and reinforced construction makes it extremely robust, efficient and user-friendly. If you’re driving on unpaved roads or off-road, the Zetros is the perfect choice.

    Highlights

    Extremely special.

Need more than just an ordinary truck? The Zetros is an all-wheel drive truck from one of the world’s largest truck assembly plants in Wörth. You can use it to quickly switch between road and off-road. Even with heavy loads, in extreme temperatures or when crossing water, the Zetros ensures you can cope with no major problems. Because it is lower than a standard truck, it is usually easier for you to get into the Zetros, or to transport it by rail or air.

Thanks to the bonnet concept, you are not only sitting behind the axle in the Zetros, but also around 50 cm lower than in comparable cab‑over-engine trucks. Because the bonnet is very accessible and robustly designed, you can easily and comfortably get to the engine or on your Zetros for repairs.

Whether you’re on the road or in places where there are no roads: the reinforced chassis offers you plenty of ground clearance and large spring travel, and the water-protected major assemblies and raised intake chimney allow you to drive through water up to a depth of 80 cm. Thanks to the short overhangs and angles of approach/departure, you can also get up and down steep slopes.

    Video thumbnail

Powerful off-road: the Zetros offers you up to 375 kW/510 hp. With the permanent all-wheel drive and the lockable longitudinal and axle differentials, the drive force is distributed evenly to the wheels. The 2‑speed transfer case with selectable off-road ratio and the optional single tyres provide you with high traction and excellent propulsion.

Whether you need the Zetros as a chassis or semitrailer tractor, with a short or extended wheelbase, with single tyres or twin tyres: thanks to a wide range of vehicle variants and wheel configurations, from 4x4 to 8x8, you can adapt it individually to your requirements.

    Robustness

Designed for tough operating conditions from the outset.

Your Zetros is one of the “Trucks you can trust”. Even in challenging terrain, it transports heavy loads to their destination in comfort. And thanks to its features, the Zetros makes everyday work easier for you, both when driving and during technical check‑ups.

    Off-road capability

    Making it.

Whether you’re on the road or on unpaved roads , immersed in water up to 80 cm deep, or have 60% slopes ahead of you: with the Zetros Offroad, you’ll perform at the highest level. Because you have a powerful drivetrain designed for off-road use, permanent all-wheel drive and up to 375 kW/510 hp under the bonnet.

With the Zetros, you can follow your own path

    Very good torsion.

    Fully loaded through rough terrain.

If you’re transporting large loads across rough terrain and the paths are uneven, steep and challenging, then the reinforced ladder-type frame of your Zetros offers you an extremely high degree of strength. Its ability to twist even when you’re on the move with heavy bodies is impressive. The frame head is designed so that you can even lift your Zetros even when fully laden, or have it towed away in an emergency.

    Comfort and design

    Hard work made easy.

No matter how long the road is or where it leads – through sand deserts, ice deserts or other challenging terrain: the inside of the Zetros offers you a comfortable workplace that scores high marks thanks to all the advantages of its bonnet concept, from the 3‑point‑mounted steel cab to the low design.

    Comfort and design

    3-point-mounted cab.

The cab of the Zetros is mounted on 3 points and is decoupled from the torsions of the frame. If you are driving the Zetros offroad, you will feel fewer jolts and vibrations on your journey. In difficult terrain, you can get a good overview of the driving situation with the help of the large adjustable side mirrors.

    Easily accessible.

The Zetros was developed to take you forward. The engine and roof can be reached quickly and easily. Thanks to the sturdy, separately opening bonnet, you don’t have to tilt the cab and can load the bonnet with the weight of up to 2 people. Or you can let your service partner take care of it – wherever you are, our service network in many countries around the world will protect you.

    Well thought-out interior

From the steering column to the low seat position: the interior of the Zetros offers you a comfortable workplace. Without an engine tunnel, you have plenty of space. There is also plenty of storage space for you and up to 2 companions, who also have room.

All 3 full-size seats offer you and your crew plenty of legroom and easy access thanks to the omission of the engine tunnel.

In the cab, you and up to 2 front passengers are seated very comfortably on fully fledged individual seats that offer you good ergonomics and plenty of legroom. The area behind the front axle is low-vibration thanks to the 3‑point‑mounted cab. This means that you are well protected against jolts and vibrations even on poor road conditions. Depending on your needs, you can also opt for a double cabin for up to 6 people with 4 doors.
