While his brother sets off to do the preparatory work in the garden, it is time for Stefan to leave again: to fetch topsoil for the embankment from the pickup point about 20 kilometres away. With the Unimog — with a tipper behind it — the hilly route can be covered almost as quickly as by car. After an hour the rig is back. Just over ten tonnes of topsoil are now dumped. Stefan uses the switch to the excavator for a quick bite. He says that he was already a big Unimog fan as a child and spent a lot of time behind the wheel of an older model. The decision to buy a new Unimog is based on the experience that he works alone most of the time and therefore needs the perfect all-round work vehicle.

A vehicle that takes him into hard-to-reach forest areas as well as into the narrow lanes of the big city of Vienna when it comes to sprucing up the garden of a prominent racing driver. The Unimog also offers the opportunity to earn money through winter service deployments, even when work on construction sites or in the forest is not possible. To be able to operate even more flexibly in the future, and because Stefan wants to make intensive use of the time before starting his own family to earn as much money as possible, a crane has already been purchased that will soon be mounted on the Unimog. This makes it possible to carry out the many construction industry jobs very comfortably, since regular trucks simply can’t get where Stefan sometimes works every day.
