Simply efficient: the striking aerodynamic design of the ProCabin cab. It reduces the consumption of the Actros L by up to 3% compared to its predecessor1. Good looks that pay off – every kilometre of the way.
Simple to use: the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 with voice control and digital features.2 Simply relaxing: assisted driving at a high level with comfortable cab equipment.
Simply safer on the road: new and improved assistance systems such as Active Brake Assist 6 and Active Sideguard Assist 2. These can detect people, vehicles and objects and help you to react quickly and appropriately.
Cost effectiveness
Efficient at first glance.
The 80 mm longer front end enables an even more aerodynamic design. Every detail of the ProCabin has been designed to divert the front air flow with as little drag as possible. The result: an efficiency increase of up to 3%1 compared to its predecessor. In combination with the economical 3rd generation OM 471 engine, this is the right choice for greater efficiency on long journeys. In this process, the engine generates plenty of output. Thanks to Top Torque, a further 200 Nm is available at the touch of a button – helpful on hills and when accelerating, e.g. when joining the motorway.

The most important sensors at the wheel are your eyes. That’s why the Actros L makes no compromises when it comes to lighting. All lighting functions feature LED technology. Matrix LED headlights are available as an option for even better lighting performance. This gives you a clear view from behind the wheel – and everyone else an impressive sight.

Cockpit Interactive 2
The secondary Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 display ensures an even better overview. You can use the touchscreen or switch panel to quickly and intuitively manage climate control, navigation, telephony, infotainment and more. You can also keep your eyes on the road and relay settings and commands by voice control.

The new secondary display in Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 supplements the central main display and ensures the best possible overall view. You can control functions such as heating, air conditioning, navigation, telephony and lighting via the touchscreen or the multifunction steering wheel – just like the integrated radio infotainment system.
Multimedia, mega simple.
With voice control, you can keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. The cockpit can be operated intuitively, configured individually and also offers you a practical tachograph app1 for time recording. You also have the option of using wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Route planning: streamlined.
An efficient and highly automated driving experience: during route guidance, the integrated truck navigation system is connected to Predictive Powertrain Control’s (PPC) anticipatory powertrain control, taking height and weight limits into account – and it always remains up-to-date, thanks to TruckLive and over‑the‑air updates. Real-time traffic warnings and Live Traffic Information make driving safer and help to avoid delays.
Now even smarter with the app.
With the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 app, you always have an eye on your truck. Whether fuel and AdBlue levels, tyre pressure or compressed-air supply – important vehicle data comes directly to your smartphone. Even the status of windows and doors can be conveniently checked.
Almost like a motorhome: SoloStar Concept.
It’s best to drive relaxed. The optionally available SoloStar cab concept impresses with its genuine living space character: with a seating corner providing ample legroom, a table with a cutlery compartment, alternative seat covers and much more. Because your truck becomes your second home, especially on long journeys.
If you work hard, you should sleep softly.
A good bed is the best way to fall asleep. And these facts are sure to get you a good night’s sleep: the bunk in the Actros L is 750 mm wide, up to 2,200 mm long and has a fully fledged slatted frame – with a one-piece, 110 mm thick, 7-zone cold foam mattress as standard. The 45 mm thick mattress topper is added on top. With this level of comfort in the Actros L, it’s quite right to say “good night”.
Even more comfort on request.
With the right equipment, your cab feels like your second home. The optional, 150 mm thick Extra Premium Comfort mattress including topper, a second refrigerator, ambient lighting or a 230 V socket ensure even more comfort. And it pays off. After all, those who live and work in the truck day and night like you have to recover well during breaks.
Safety
Uncompromising safety: the assistance systems.
Safety is on board. The Actros L doesn’t leave you alone at the wheel. Numerous safety assistance systems are there to help you. After all, you’re on the road in a truck from Mercedes‑Benz Trucks – it goes without saying that you feel safe behind the wheel.
The Active Brake Assist already meets the AEBS (Advanced Emergency Braking System) legislation that will come into force in September 2028. The 270° fusion technology features expanded environmental detection. This enables the system to respond even more quickly to critical situations. As a result, a higher level of accident avoidance can be achieved both for vehicles up to 90 km/h and for pedestrians and cyclists up to 60 km/h. The system now also clearly indicates when it is not yet fully active.
The further developed Active Sideguard Assist in its second generation can support you when changing lanes or performing turning maneuvers with restricted visibility across the entire speed range. In addition, the two-stage warning system can alert you to potential hazards so that, by intervening in time, you can defuse a critical traffic situation.
The Frontguard Assist can increase driving safety even before you set off: It monitors the traffic area in front of the vehicle and assists you in the speed range up to 15 km/h, for example when stationary, when pulling away, or at intersections. If the system detects moving objects in front of the vehicle, such as people, the warning system can help you react in time by issuing a two-stage hazard warning.
Attention Assist 2 can help prevent accidents caused by driver inattention or fatigue by issuing visual and acoustic warnings. Using an integrated camera, it detects the driver's visual attention based on gaze angle and the driver's level of fatigue. All data remain in the vehicle.

In addition to the 12-month warranty with unlimited mileage for the complete vehicle, the extended Mercedes‑Benz Trucks warranty extends to 36 months for parts of the drivetrain or parts groups in the engine, manual transmission, automatic transmission, transfer case, driven front and rear axle, shaft train and retarder, up to a maximum of 250,000 km or 450,000 km, depending on the type of use.
