    Your vehicles for airport infrastructure.

    Special vehicles for your industry

    Your vehicles for airport infrastructure.

From logistics to winter service: keeping the airport running.

    Ready for your mission

    Preparing airports for take-offs.

Catering, refuelling, winter service, cleaning: there are innumerable tasks to be done at an airport, in an environment with highly complex operations, stringent security measures and a detailed schedule. Mercedes‑Benz Trucks offers you the right vehicle for each job – for a smooth process at the airport.

For planes and helicopters to stay on schedule, they need to be refuelled quickly and safely between flights. Mercedes-Benz trucks ensure that you have the right support for this task. They are characterised by high levels of manoeuvrability and a high payload, so you can effortlessly transport the right amount of jet fuel for the airport across the apron. The Econic’s low design height also allows you to drive underneath the wing. So you can simply fly through your tasks.

Beverages and food for passengers, blankets, pillows and magazines: with a highlift on a chassis from Mercedes-Benz Trucks, you can turn aircraft around quickly and reliably. The various advantages of the trucks contribute to a high level of operational reliability. The low-profile design, clear overview from the cab, fully electric drive and various – also airport-specific – safety assistance systems are just a few examples of the features that enable you to manoeuvre quickly and as safely as possible through dynamic traffic situations at the airport and reliably supply the common aircraft types, from Boeing 737 to Airbus A380.

To ensure things keep running smoothly at the airport in winter, runways and taxiways must be cleared of snow and ice – very quickly and sustainably. The terminal apron must also be reliably cleared for the handling of aircraft. Whether in combination with a snowplough or de-icing sprayer, with a cutter/blower or a blower/sweeper: Mercedes-Benz Trucks ensures you have the best solution for your flight operations.

In addition to the usual cleaning requirements, rubber abrasion and metal parts are particular challenges at the airport. Safe airport operations require clean runways. Mercedes-Benz Trucks supports you in maintaining the airport infrastructure with its fast, agile and powerful trucks. After all, in addition to ensuring great cleaning results, it is also important to work quickly to minimise flight interruptions.

    Econic and eEconic

The panoramic windscreen and the glazed folding door of the Econic allow you and your team to keep an eye on what is happening on the runway or apron. The low seating position also ensures that you are at eye level with airport traffic. Thanks to its low cab and low overall height, the Econic fits below the wings of common aircraft. As an airport deployment vehicle, the Econic offers you numerous, variable body options. Either with a powerful tried-and-tested diesel drive, or quiet and locally CO2‑free when driving in the all-electric variant.

A white Econic with refuelling equipment stands next to an aircraft on the airport apron. The tank has “Skytanking” written on it. An employee in high-visibility clothing is standing next to the truck. In the background, you can see other aircraft and large fuel tanks.

    Actros and eActros

The Actros is your functional companion when it comes to airport operations. With its numerous wheelbases and special load values for specific use at the airport, it provides the basis for various bodies, e.g. as a tanker or catering vehicle. You can choose from different cab variants that are comfortable and ergonomically equipped. In the lowest variant, it is also possible to drive underneath aircraft wings. Versatile power take-offs allow you to be flexible on the apron. Whether with modern, durable and efficient diesel engines or with battery-electric drive: the Actros is environmentally friendly and even locally CO2‑neutral when driving.

Whether used as a tanker, dispenser or catering vehicle, for winter service operations on the apron or as a sweeper: with its versatile power take-offs and numerous wheelbase options, you have various options for configuring it for your purposes. And it’s economical on the move, as thanks to its modern diesel engines, the Atego has low fuel consumption. It is robust and equipped with durable components.
