Robust growth engine.

Robust growth engine.

Industry and trade in the Middle East and North Africa have been booming for decades: gigantic construction projects are being carried out, energy supply routes are being expanded and long-distance logistics projects are being realized. In the midst of this growth region, Gorica Industries LLC has established itself, a manufacturer of trailers, semitrailers, fuel tankers and concrete mixers based in Dubai. For many years the company has relied on vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Trucks, in particular the robust offroad truck Zetros.

Construction, transport, supply: Gorica Industries relies on the Mercedes-Benz Zetros

Versatile.

When developing, constructing and supplying hard-to-reach areas, more than just roadworthiness is often required. Tough conditions require a truck that can take a beating. This is where the Zetros really shows its strengths: it has been designed from the ground up for extreme challenges.

The range of applications of the special truck is broad thanks to its versatile body implements: they are used in construction, logistics, mining, the oil and gas industry – and also when speed is of the essence, such as for transporting perishable goods. In doing so, the Zetros functions as a semitrailer tractor or is equipped with a crane, tank or tipper flatbed.

Powerful on challenging terrain.

Powerful and uncompromising, the Zetros tows Gorica's trailers and equipment through rugged terrain and over sandy ground. With its permanent all-wheel drive, it puts up to 510 hp from the factory to work not only on the road but on any terrain. Thanks to the optional tyre pressure control system on the Zetros, the driver can easily adjust tyre inflation at the push of a button, making the switch from road to sand a breeze.

Whether on gravel tracks, construction sites or the demanding last metres in quarries – with its reinforced dampers, high ground clearance and long wheelbase, the off-road truck from Mercedes-Benz Trucks delivers where other trucks fail.

Legendary durability.

The Zetros is not only designed for the toughest tasks, but also stands out for simplicity where it is needed: its straightforward electronics and ease of maintenance make it popular with users and mechanics. With its robustness and deliberately easy-to-repair components, a Zetros spends much less time in workshops, since many repairs can be carried out directly ‘on site’.

And when a repair is required, Mercedes-Benz Trucks has for years benefited from its global service network and the worldwide availability of spare parts. As a result, the Zetros not only delivers reliable proof of good work every day, but has also become an engine for growth in the Middle East and North Africa.

Tasks under extreme conditions.

Gorica was founded in 1990 as a company for commercial vehicles, trailers and truck bodies. Under the motto "Passionate about Trailers", the company aims to master an extremely wide range of tasks under extreme conditions. Commercial vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Trucks are a reliable partner in these gruelling endurance tests: Each year Gorica builds around 1,500 commercial vehicles from the entire Mercedes-Benz Trucks product range – from the light Accelo through the medium-weight Atego to the heavyweights Actros, Arocs and Zetros. These are used in a variety of countries in North Africa and the Middle East – from the Kingdom of Morocco to the Sultanate of Oman.
