Tailor-made eMobility

The conversion professionals at Mercedes-Benz Custom Tailored Trucks have once again received a special assignment: an eEconic is needed for the Australian market that does not yet exist. The expansion of e-mobility presents the colleagues in Molsheim with growing challenges – but impossible? Neither this order nor the next ones are impossible, they say.

Comfort in the extreme

Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks puts the Unimog implement carrier through its paces on the Grossglockner at an altitude of 2,500 m. The focus is on the UNI-TOUCH® control system.

Great Britain's winter hero

Powerful in winter service: the 1,000th Mercedes-Benz Arocs at Econ Engineering with OM 471, PowerShift, all-wheel drive and Spargo spreader.

The vehicle impresses with its quiet, emission-free operation, supported by on-site solar power. Its innovative technology and safety features, such as Frontguard Assist and Sideguard Assist, offer a major advantage in urban traffic. The success of the eEconic is accelerating the shift to a fully electrified vehicle fleet, supported by national funding programs.

Eco as a system

Zellinger GmbH brings sustainable waste disposal to Upper Austria with four all-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 300 – powered by its own green electricity.

Crane deployment instead of muscle power

To ensure a high level of safety in city traffic, Freiburg has relied on the Econic for 15 years. This also applies to the new underground containers.

In calmness lies strength.

Environmentally friendly winter service: Autobahn GmbH is testing the eActros 400 on the A9 as the first electric snow-clearing vehicle on German motorways.
