Mercedes-Benz Uptime

The future of driving is in connectivity.

Reducing unplanned workshop visits and operational downtimes to a minimum – that's the goal of every fleet manager. With intelligent networking of the latest technologies, Mercedes-Benz Uptime helps achieve this. The system was previously successfully launched most notably in the Actros, but since autumn of this year, Uptime is now also available for the Econic.

The principle behind Mercedes-Benz Uptime: to bundle all of the relevant information on the vehicle and make it available where it is needed – automatically and as quickly as possible. Thus the risk of unplanned vehicle downtimes is minimised and upcoming repairs can be better co-ordinated. This increases vehicle availability, enabling businesses to use the Econic to complete their tasks with even greater efficiency.

Every day, the systems on-board the Econic generate several gigabytes of data which can be used for various aspects of vehicle diagnostics. From fill level displays for oil and lubricants to average fuel consumption and the charge level of the battery. In the event of a problem, service workshops can find the cause of an error, before the vehicle reaches the workshop.

Fast assistance for maintenance, efficient repair management and the intelligent prevention of predictable downtimes make Mercedes-Benz Uptime a valuable tool for fleet managers.

Mercedes-Benz Uptime users can call up their vehicle data at any time in the online portal using their own individual login. The portal provides a complete, up-to-date overview of the status of the vehicles being used, as well as of wear parts and operating fluids. As well as any current messages, practical recommendations for action are also issued. This allows optimal planning of maintenance and repair work.

If the Fleetboard telematics service is used in addition to Mercedes-Benz Uptime, all of the data generated via Mercedes-Benz Uptime is also displayed in the Fleetboard cockpit, thus relieving companies of the need to work in two systems in parallel.

In the web-based Fleetboard portal, any data gathered can be conveniently analysed and, if required, fleet managers can also receive valuable recommendations for action.
