The Zetros makes detours unnecessary. Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks has perfected the vehicle concept of the Zetros for challenging transport tasks even on difficult terrain. Steeped in tradition, the cab-behind-engine vehicle combines proven off-road qualities with a high load carrying capacity. Permanent all-wheel drive, a 2-speed transfer case and optionally either a 7.2-litre or 12-litre inline 6-cylinder engine with 240 kW (326 hp) to 315 kW (428 hp) optimally advance the Zetros even off surfaced roads. An intelligent axle combination and the Telligent® engine system complete the efficient, diesel-saving drivetrain.

For maximum output, the Zetros is also available with the Euro 3 OM 457 engine.¹⁰⁰⁴ At a torque of 2,100 Nm at 1,200–1,600 rpm, this engine generates 315 kW from a displacement of 12 litres.

Fewer cents per kilometre – the operationally optimised drivetrain configuration of the Zetros lets you travel economically. Low fuel consumption is enabled by the dependable Euro 5 engines and BlueTec® SCR diesel technology, for economically complying with the Euro 5 standard.
