    Mercedes-Benz genuine engine insulation for<br>Econic

    Econic

    Mercedes-Benz genuine engine insulation for
    Econic

Where there's a lot of power, there's a lot of heat. Because of the Econic's powerful diesel engine, the driver's cab can become somewhat warmer than desired. The newly developed engine insulation puts an end to that. It provides a more pleasant temperature as standard — and at the same time saves energy, because the air conditioning can remain off more often.

More pleasant climate in the Econic cab thanks to Mercedes-Benz engine insulation.

Keep a cool head in the cab.

To be able to work with concentration, truck drivers need to feel comfortable in their job – the right climate in the cab helps with that. Especially when they are on the road with their Econic all day, it is important that they keep a cool head: for greater comfort and driving quality.

The thermal insulation of the engine tunnel consists of a three-part damping device made of EPP particle foam. It is mounted in the middle of the cab interior, directly beneath the middle seat. The factory-fitted solution designed by our Daimler Truck expert team ensures that engine heat is effectively shielded from now on.
