More braking power as standard.
With the Actros, Mercedes‑Benz Trucks launched the first truck model with electronically controlled disc brakes as standard in 1996 – a major step forward in terms of safety. The Telligent brake system reacted with lightning speed and shortened braking distances by almost 30%. An innovation that ensured the Actros made the road much safer for everyone.
