Powerful and robust, comfortable and easy to handle: whether you choose a 4‑ or 6‑cylinder engine or one of the three cockpit variants: Your Atego meets the needs you have in your industry.
With the Atego, you get the power you need: whether as a 4‑cylinder with up to 231 hp or a 6‑cylinder with up to 299 hp, each with manual or automatic transmission. The optional High Performance Engine Brake provides additional safety: the three-stage, maintenance-free retarder brake delivers up to 300 kW of braking power, depending on the engine variant.
Your Atego is robustly constructed from the drivetrain through to the frame to withstand everyday stresses.

Bodies for your tasks
All-rounder for construction and trade: thanks to the many attachment and body options, you can configure the Atego to meet your requirements – whether as a platform truck, tipper vehicle or crane body.
Power for your jobs
One vehicle, many options. You have the choice between 4x2 and 4x4 drive and steel suspension with single or multi‑leaf springs, depending on what suits your transportation tasks in construction traffic best. The rear axle guide1 and the stabiliser bar on the rear axle provide support for stable driving properties.
Comfort
Compact on the outside, spacious on the inside.
With three cockpit variants, you get the version you need. The clearly structured cockpit and easy-to-read displays make work behind the wheel easier.
Classic Cockpit, Comfort Cockpit and Standard Cockpit: the choice is yours. Even in the Standard Cockpit, everything is within easy reach, from cup holder to socket and storage compartment. In the Classic Cockpit, the full range of equipment is ergonomic. An ashtray and a cigarette lighter with socket function are also part of the equipment. The Comfort Cockpit has additional storage space. If desired, even more storage space can be created under the dash with a protruding shelf.
Here, you sit comfortably: the controls are intuitively arranged, the seat cushions are especially wide, and the adjustment range is particularly ample. The standard suspension seat is air-sprung and has a soft fabric cover. An air-conditioned suspension seat is also optionally available.
Whether it’s traffic reports or your favourite music: your radio infotainment system makes every trip easier. If desired, equipment for multimedia use, such as commercially available navigation systems, phones or MP3 players, is also available. The voice output is delivered by the vehicle’s speakers.
Safety
Attentive helpers on board.
At the construction site and on the way there: innovative assistance systems keep you safe on the road. This allows you to detect dangers at an early stage, brake in good time and maintain an overview of the traffic situation.
A step forwards for safety: the advanced version of Active Brake Assist is now even better at detecting obstacles and critical situations and reacts with appropriate measures – from clear warning signals to automatic full-stop braking. You will also be notified if the system is not yet fully active.
Safety on both sides as standard: the latest generation of Active Sideguard Assist provides even better support when changing lanes, overtaking and turning in complex situations.
Keeping an eye on everything: Front Guard Assist monitors the area in front of the vehicle and supports the driver with warning signals in the event of possible hazards – for moving off, manoeuvring and turning more safely.
With the reversing camera system, you can keep an eye on what is happening behind your truck. As soon as you engage reverse gear, the system automatically switches on. This allows you to manoeuvre more precisely and operate more safely.
Always alert: everyone gets tired on long, monotonous journeys – but Attention Assist 2 does not. The system can keep an eye on your concentration and recognise when you become inattentive or tired. It can warn you acoustically and visually.

Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Complete ensures that your truck is profitable while on the road. And all for up to 96 months or a total mileage of 1 million km. The complete service package includes maintenance, repairs, replacement of wear parts and much more.

Give yourself some digital help with vehicle management to make the processes surrounding your truck more profitable: with smart services like Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Uptime, Fleetboard, TruckLive and the customer portal: My TruckPoint for Mercedes‑Benz Trucks. For improved maintenance planning, shorter workshop visits, more transparency on the road – or dynamic route planning based on real-time traffic data. As an aside: even our Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Service24h is at the scene faster in the event of a breakdown if it can access your truck’s digital data.

Fleetboard
Fleetboard allows you to increase the efficiency of your fleet and reduce costs and wear. This fleet management tool provides real-time data so that you can move your truck in everyday transport in a particularly environmentally conscious and fuel-saving manner. Even if your truck is already very economical, the Fleetboard application analysis service can reduce fuel consumption even further. Fleetboard carries out a detailed assessment of your drivers’ individual driving styles in order to generate important insights and driving recommendations. These lead to an improved driving style and with that, efficient consumption.
Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Uptime
Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Uptime checks the status of many of your truck’s systems when it is started up. It can identify critical states – and sends predictive repair and maintenance instructions. This allows you to react faster and avoid predictable breakdowns as much as possible. Downtimes are reduced. As are associated costs.
My TruckPoint for Mercedes‑Benz Trucks and TruckLive
Manage your vehicles as well as related contracts and information: you can do this easily with My TruckPoint for Mercedes‑Benz Trucks, the digital customer portal. You can also register your truck here and get free access to TruckLive for three years. When the free period of 36 months has expired, you can purchase TruckLive as a fee-based service. If you are already a customer of Fleetboard Paid Services or our Mercedes‑Benz Trucks service contracts, TruckLive remains free of charge even after 36 months.
TruckLive is your introduction to our digital service world. It enables dynamic route guidance. The service additionally offers useful functions such as efficient maintenance management as well as many other specific services that are quickly available.

Warranty
The warranty for countless scenarios.
In addition to the 12-month warranty with unlimited mileage for the complete vehicle, the extended Mercedes‑Benz Trucks warranty extends to 36 months for parts of the drivetrain. It covers parts groups in the engine, transmission, drive shaft(s) and drive axle(s) up to a maximum of 250,000 km depending on the type of use.
