Introducing Axor 2528 CH 

PT Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI) introduced a truck with specialized applications for the mining sector: Mercedes-Benz Axor 2528 CH to complete the portfolio of Mercedes-Benz off-road trucks at the 2019 Indonesia Mining Expo, Outdoor Area, Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran. During the event on 18-21 September, Axor 2528 CH was being an evidence of DCVI's commitment to provide products that meet the customer needs.

Equipped with the OM 906 LA 6 cylinder engine that has been proven in the Mercedes-Benz Axor 2528 C and RMC, the Axor 2528 CH is a new innovation catering to the mining market. The vehicle is equipped with 18 PR tube-type wheels with mining lug, rear axle with additional hub reduction, and thicker rear leaf suspension for off-road use in the challenging mining operations. Additionally, the Mercedes-Benz Axor 2528 CH is also equipped with an air conditioner, power window, central lock, rotation lamp (beacon lamp), and a battery disconnect switch that distinguishes it from other off-road trucks. Furthermore, improvements to the axle ratio generates more power, making truck operation easier and safer.

Aside from the Mercedes-Benz Axor 2528 CH, DCVI also presented other off-road and mining trucks such as the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4045 AK (the first all-wheel drive truck in the Arocs series), Mercedes-Benz Actros 4048 S, Axor 3336 K, Axor 4843, and the Mercedes-Benz 4845 K - offering up to 9% fuel efficiency. At the location of the event, customers had a chance to experience the trucks and get special offers from DCVI.

 

Live Entertainment and More!

Throughout the exhibition, visitors were invited to try out the “Hammer Strength Game” and “Photo Challenge”, with exclusive Mercedes-Benz merchandises. A live music performance and quizzes were also carried out to raise the crowd’s and visitors’ energy towards the end of the event. All in all, this event is expected to raise the contribution of Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia to the growth of various sectors throughout the country.
